Our team has developed a network in the east coast logistics sector, starting in the Port of Baltimore. We have successfully secured a pilot and design partnership from a regional carrier with over 50 vehicles.

Intense Cross-Disciplinary Collaborations

Our team of researchers from Johns Hopkins, Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) experts, and logistics sector operators holds a pending patent on the core neuro-safety system of NSS. In further iterations, we aim to develop more patents on signal-noise reduction in high-vibration environments specifically engineered to the cabin of a truck.

Privacy-First Safety

Current safety solutions rely on driver-facing cameras (DFCs) that record mistakes and report drivers to management, creating a hostile work environment. We take a different approach. The NSS headset privately alerts the driver the moment focus drifts, correcting behavior instantly without punitive surveillance, bridging the gap between manager liability concerns and driver privacy.

Closed Loop Neuroscience

The system utilizes a closed-loop feedback mechanism grounded in academic trials. By monitoring Theta and Alpha brainwave bands, our machine learning models identify the onset of microsleep or inattention. The device immediately triggers a subtle vibration to restore alertness. This method has been shown in controlled studies to improve refocusing capabilities significantly compared to visual or audio alarms.
